The More Inclusive New Normal: A DEI Series for People Leaders

People leader surveys show that diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work is a top priority in 2021. And, people leaders’ biggest barrier to reaching their goals is a lack of time.

Most people leaders are not DEI experts and have limited knowledge and comfort leading DEI initiatives along with their daily responsibilities. At the same time, DEI professionals are flooded with requests and many are booked well into 2021. We know that a speaker series alone is not enough. Arming people with information without practical tools to begin DEI work in their organizations will only lead to frustration.

To bridge the gap between people leaders and DEI experts, we’re working with leading DEI expert Cheryl Ingram and a team of expert DEI coaches and facilitators.

We’ve designed a one of a kind program, in the wake of the murder of George Floyd, to help companies deliver on the imperative of increasing inclusion and decreasing racism in their organizations.

FACILITATED BY DR. CHERYL INGRAM

All sessions will be designed and facilitated by DEI expert Dr. Cheryl Ingram. Cheryl Ingram is the CEO and Founder of Inclusology, a software company working to build the world’s greatest benchmarks for DEI, and Diverse City LLC., a diversity and inclusion consulting firm working with organizations across the United States. Cheryl has been training and coaching in the area of multicultural studies for 15 years. She has her Doctorate of Education with a specialization in Multicultural studies, a Master of Arts in Education, and her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. Cheryl is a prominent Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion professional who guides leaders and teams through difficult, yet necessary conversations about diversity and unconscious bias at work.

All participants will be asked to reflect on and document how DEI aligns with their business goals and secure executive sponsorship. Workshops include education followed by hands-on work in small break out groups led by DEI experts. Following each workshop, participants will meet one on one with a DEI Implementation Coach to help meet their individual priorities and organizational needs.
