  • States with employees: Make sure you have a complete listing of the states where your employees live and work. We’ll use this to create relevant state specific addendums. This express handbook is best for organizations with fewer than 5 states.
  • Work schedules and expectations: Make sure your team is aligned on expectations around working hours, remote and hybrid flexibility, overtime, and how you define a typical workday.
  • Company Mission, Vision, and Values: This will help us tailor the handbook to your culture.
  • Organizational chart: Helps understand reporting structures and roles.
  • HR internal contact: Determine who employees should contact with questions about any aspect of the handbook. If you don’t have a dedicated HR lead, this could be a founder, team lead, or someone in operations.
