Our Express Hiring & Onboarding service provides a streamlined solution for growing companies.

The Express Hiring & Onboarding service ensures you have a clear, easy-to-follow guide as you make your first hire and continue to grow. We used our own experience helping hundreds of growing businesses to include everything you’ll need.

This package is for you if:

  • You want clear guidance on steps you can take to hire and onboard new team members effectively.
  • You don’t yet have a standardized approach to interviewing and onboarding.
  • You want an express solution that is mostly DIY, with the support and guidance of an experienced consultant if you get stuck.

Kickoff Call

During this introductory call with your consultant, they will ask about your hiring needs and any tools or processes you use today. They will share recommendations specific to your open role(s) and industry, to help you make the most of the express toolkit.

Collaborative Creation

You will speak to your consultant approximately one or two more times as you work through the toolkit, create your hiring and onboarding process, and customize the templates (job description, interview guide, onboarding plan, etc.) so they work for you. Your consultant can help if you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

Customizable Templates & Compliance Guide

This toolkit includes seven templates that you can customize and save for future use. In addition, your consultant will use a tool called SixFifty to provide you with a state and federal compliance guide for up to five states, helping you set up to support your new employees and stay compliant.

A: A high quality interview process helps you find the best possible candidate for your open roles and organization. Effective onboarding makes new hires feel welcome and become productive more quickly. A consistent and well thought out hiring process also reduces legal risk for you and your team.

A: If you’re making your first hire and don’t know where to start, that’s perfectly fine. Just take a  few minutes to think about the role(s) you need to fill and what skills and values you’re looking for. Consider who else will interview the candidate, when you’d like them to start, and how they will spend their time once they join you, especially their first week with the company.

A: We’ve included a number of recommendations and templates to help you create a consistent and compliant hiring process. If you’re in a rush to hire, we recommend scheduling your first call with a Reverb consultant ASAP. Even if you haven’t filled out all of the templates, we recommend you do the following before making your first hire:

  1. Start with the Hiring Decision Template
  2. Complete your job description
  3. Write down who will interview the candidate and what questions they will ask. Share the Interview Guide with all interviewers and ask them to take notes. 
  4. Remember to schedule a debrief meeting before deciding whether to make an offer. 

Be sure to ask your consultant about location specific laws and ordinances before making an offer using the Offer Letter template.
